- ii : as in feet, need
- ië : as in 'igh-ë'
- ih : as in high, fly

- o : as in poke

stress
Most words are stressed on the first syllable.
- neoht, night
- dahtir, daughter
However, if the word uses 'aa', the syllable in which it falls takes the stress.
- encaas, house
If the word begins with certain prefixes, such as fir- or ë-, the next syllable following takes the stress.
